What The Colab is

A place to do your work well, a few minutes from where you live.

The Colab is a shared workspace for people whose work is serious but whose office, until now, has been the kitchen table or a long drive. Work at the long table or a desk by the wall, take a call in the lounge, and use the whole room — and the patio — when you have something worth gathering for. A conference room with a door is planned for after opening.

One room, one patio, one address: 122 S. E Street in Exeter. You bring the work. We keep the building running.

Host it

Your event. Our space.

Rent the whole Colab for a workshop, a dinner, a training, a launch, or a gathering that needs more than a table — or reserve the patio on its own. There's a full kitchen, so you can curate your own dining experience. Members get 10–20% off depending on tier.

Who it's for

Built for people who work for themselves, from here.

Independent professionals

Consultants, agents, advisors, designers, bookkeepers — people whose work is real but whose office has been a laptop. A place to work, a conference room for clients, and an address you can put on a card.

Remote workers

You have the job. What you don't have is the separation between work and the rest of the house. Come in when you need to, go home when you're done.

Small teams

Two to six people who need to be in the same room some of the time without signing a five-year lease for a building you'd have to furnish yourselves.
