Memberships are $79, $119, or $179 a month depending on how often you’re here and what’s included. The full comparison is on the Membership page. A day pass is $29. Renting The Colab starts at $450 for a Monday–Thursday evening and $650 for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening, with every rate published on the Host it page. A quiet space is $15 an hour for members once any included hours are used up, $15 an hour for day-pass visitors, or $25 an hour without a membership or a day pass.

Yes. The two quiet spaces are tucked away from the main room, with space for four around a small table. Each one is set apart and open above, so it's right for a focused hour, a client call or a conversation you'd rather have out of the main room — quieter, but not soundproof: voices carry. Create members get two hours a month, Collaborate members five, and beyond that it's $15 an hour. The 16-seat table can be booked by any member free for up to two hours, once a week — the booking page shows what's free and holds it for you. Day-pass visitors can add a quiet space for $15 an hour or $50 for the day.

Yes — the virtual office is $29 a month and gives you 122 South E Street as your business address, mail and packages held for pickup, a text when something arrives, and 10% off space bookings. Mail is also included with every membership. Either way you get your own mailbox number, which has to appear on anything sent to you, and the Postal Service asks you to sign one form in front of us — bring two forms of ID the first time you come in.

The first 30 members lock in the founding rates — $69, $109, or $169 a month — for their first 12 months of membership, counted from the first payment, as long as the membership stays continuously active. Cancel and rejoin later and it restarts at the standard rate. After the founding spots are gone, new memberships are the standard $79, $119 and $179.

Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Collaborate members also have weekend access during designated hours when the space isn't reserved for a private event.

No long-term contract. Memberships are billed monthly and renew automatically on your monthly renewal date. You can cancel any time; your membership simply runs out at the end of the period you've paid for, with no cancellation fee. Founding members keep their locked rate for 12 months as long as they stay continuously active. The full terms are on the Terms of Service page.

Yes. A day pass is $29 and gets you a seat in the open workspace from 8 AM to 6 PM, with Wi-Fi, coffee, the kitchen, and 10 printed pages. No membership and no commitment. If you find yourself here more than twice a month, the Connect membership at $79 works out cheaper.

Day passes are non-refundable. You can cancel yours in My account, but the payment is not refunded. Need a different date? Use Request a different date in My account (or the link in your confirmation email) before your day starts, and our staff will confirm whether the new date is available — your original pass stays valid until they do, and each pass can be changed once. Passes are non-transferable: only the person who bought the pass can use it and its door code. If we cancel, the building is closed, or your door code fails because of us, we refund the day in full.

Yes. Book one of the two quiet spaces online by the hour at /book-room: $25 an hour, or $15 an hour (up to $50 for the day) when you hold a day pass for the same day. Quiet spaces can be booked Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 6 PM, up to 7 days ahead, for 1 to 8 hours. You confirm your email, accept the Room Booking Addendum, and pay by card; your door code is emailed and works from 30 minutes before your booking until 30 minutes after it. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable: you can cancel (without a refund) or ask our staff for a different day or time from the link in your confirmation email. If we cancel, the building is closed, or your door code fails because of us, we refund the booking in full.

Black and white printing is unlimited on every membership. Color is included by tier — 50 pages a month with Create and 100 with Collaborate — and Connect doesn't include color. Day-pass visitors get 10 pages.

Yes — street parking, right outside on E Street and around downtown Exeter.

No. Startups are welcome, established businesses are welcome, and so are remote workers, creators, professionals, and people figuring out what comes next. You don't have to build alone here.

Downtown Exeter, at 122 South E Street, within walking distance of most of downtown. We're upstairs from Monet's — look for the double blue doors just to the south. Street parking is right outside.

Yes. The Colab can be booked for workshops, dinners, trainings, and gatherings. The Patio is booked either added to a booking of The Colab or on its own (the Host it page shows whether it can be booked online yet); on its own it does not include the restrooms or the kitchen, and guests come and go by its own gate at the back of the building. Rates are published in full on the Host it page — $450 a Monday–Thursday evening, $650 a Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening, $750 a weekend day — and members get 10–20% off. Where online booking is open you can choose a date and hours on the venue booking page, see the whole price, then accept the Rental Agreement and pay in full; otherwise send a request from the Host it page and we email your Booking Confirmation with a secure link to pay. The total includes a $25 booking fee — it is part of the total, not an extra. Cancel at least 14 days before your event starts and we refund what you paid less the $25; cancel later and we keep half the agreed rental price plus the $25 and refund the rest. There's no separate damage deposit to pay — we keep your card on file, and damage or extra cleaning is billed by itemized statement, with 14 days to pay or dispute before the card is charged.

Yes. A licensed, insured bartender or caterer that you hire serves it — no self-service. A private gathering of 25 or fewer, where nothing is sold and nobody is charged at the door, can bring and serve its own. Selling drinks or charging admission needs our written approval and a California ABC permit. The full rules are on the Host it page.
